About me

My turning point came when I realized that healing isn’t something separate—it’s meant to be woven into the fabric of daily life. Embracing this balance allowed me to uncover the deep healing within myself, and now, I have the privilege of guiding others to unlock their own.

Healing one step at a time

My curiosity about healing was awakened during university when a health scare forced me to confront my own well-being. It led to one of the most pivotal moments in my life—a deep conversation about mental health.

At first, I felt anxious, uncertain, and hesitant about how to approach such a sensitive topic. But after gathering my courage, I had an honest conversation with my mother about my mental health. That conversation changed everything.

Since then, I have initiated hundreds, maybe thousands of conversations around mental health and healing, creating space for dialogue, awareness, and transformation.

My journey led me to deeply engage in community building for at-risk youth in Kenya, creating spaces for support, resilience, and growth.

While this work was profoundly meaningful, I felt an undeniable pull—a calling to hold healing spaces for individual transformation.

That call guided me toward somatic healing, where I now practice my purpose day by day, walking alongside others as they reclaim their energy and well-being.

"A lot may be happening around you. But I would like you to notice what is happening in your heart space. How does your heart feel?"

Wairimu's Story

For as long as I can remember, I have carried a deep calling to create spaces for healing...

At first, I didn’t have the words for it—I simply moved through life, guided by an instinct to nurture, to listen, and to offer stillness where others could soften.

Over the years, this calling has woven itself into many forms—community work, breathwork, art, and movement. Each practice became a bridge, leading me closer to understanding the language of the body, the wisdom it holds, and the healing it craves.

In 2020, my purpose in healing work became undeniable, calling me to fully devote myself to this path. I immersed myself in learning about trauma and its impact on the brain, understanding how experiences shape us beyond what we consciously perceive.

Then, in January 2025, I took a deeper step—I began my Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) training, learning how to support the nervous system in profound ways. This journey has allowed me to explore the body’s natural ability to process, restore, and heal, guiding me toward deeper practices that help individuals reclaim their energy and well-being.

When I stepped into Somatic Experiencing, and everything shifted.

Through my ongoing training as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, I continue to deepen my understanding of how our bodies store stories long after words fade.

How tension isn’t just physical—it’s a conversation waiting to be heard. How healing isn’t about forcing change but about inviting the body to remember its own rhythm, its own balance, its own softness.

That’s where The Dew Drop was born—a sanctuary designed for those ready to pause, breathe, and listen.

Here, healing is gentle, intuitive, and deeply restorative. Whether through touch-based work, somatic practices, or nervous system care, I offer spaces where you can reconnect with yourself in a way that feels natural and nourishing.

Because healing doesn’t happen in isolation—it happens in safe spaces, through presence, in moments of permission and deep exhale. I’m here to offer that space to you
